I absolutely adore these articles you are making, as I have been wanting to find a better way to finding palettes for projects.
Super inspiring and very informative.
In watercolour I tend to use quite some colours but always the same so I am pretty confident with my mixing. However I find I always go to the same mixes and some colours I only use to cool things or warm them up but don’t get the most out of them if you know what I mean.
I’ve been wanting to experiment with limited palettes but using very different primaries and also palettes that are not necessarily based on primaries at all.

thank you so much! i’m so glad they are helpful for you. There’s nothing wrong with using the same mixes as long as you still enjoy yourself. That’s partially why I had more trouble finding this palette, because I’d been using the same palette for a few years up till now. but it was a fun challenge!

Definitely not wrong but I yearn for new color combinations and also I want to stretch to using more inventive color choices in my illustrations.
